Honest about our role
We publish guidance and pass on enquiries. We do not do repairs, and we say so on every page that matters.
About
About Richmond Mobile Mechanic, how this site works
Richmond Mobile Mechanic is a local referral site. It publishes plain-language guidance about mobile auto repair in Richmond, BC and passes enquiries to independent providers who do the work.
Mobile auto repair can be convenient, but it is hard to compare. Listings say little about what a job involves or what to ask. This site exists to fill that gap with clear guides for Richmond drivers, covering signs, repairs, steps and price factors.
When you send an enquiry, we pass it to an independent provider where one is available for your area. The provider contacts you, quotes the job, does the work and deals with you directly. We are not a repair company and do not employ mechanics.
You can read how referrals work on the referral disclosure page. If anything on this site is unclear, call, send the form or email us and we'll explain.
What we stand for
What you can expect from us.
Plain language
Guides use short sentences and everyday words so you can understand a job before you agree to it.
Local detail only where sourced
We include local detail only where we found a source for it, and keep other pages short instead of padding them.
You choose the provider
Providers set their prices and deal with you directly. You decide whether to go ahead after hearing the quote.
